The Padre Pio Prayer Group here in Central Illinois is recognized by the Bishop of the Diocese of Peoria, IL, and officially recognized and registered with the Padre Pio Prayer Groups International Headquarters in San Giovanni Rotondo, Italy.  This is a faith community centered on prayer under the guidance of a priest spiritual director.
